While members were hard at work preparing for carnival, the 911 center received a call for a vehicle collision at the intersection of Deer Park Road and Kays Mill Road. Station 13 was alerted at 12:39 pm. Engine 134 arrived with a car into a pole and fully involved in fire. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and requested BGE to survey the poles damage. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and refused to go to the hospital for checkup. Carroll County Sheriffs Office arrived on scene and took over the incident.
