Gamber & Community Fire Co. units were alerted for a vehicle collision at approximately 6:00 pm on Monday, December 17. The collision was located at Route 91 and Deer Park Road. Sykesville's Rescue Squad 12 was also alerted on the call.

Two vehicles were involved, an SUV and a van. Four patients were transported to area hospitals with at least one patient considered a trauma case. That patient was flown to Shock Trauma by the Maryland State Police helicopter after extrication from the vehicle by crews from Engine 134 and Rescue Squad 12. Engine 131 handled the landing site for the helicopter on Rt. 91 just north of the scene. Last units cleared at 7:00 pm.
