Annual pump testing and equipment inspections on Gamber & Community Fire Co.'s fire apparatus were held on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Engines 131 and 134 and Engine/Tanker 133 went to the Carroll County Public Safety Training Center in Westminster for the testing.

Each unit went individually and connected to the underground tank that supplies the water for pump testing. A series of tests was conducted on each apparatus involving drafting water, pumping with pressure, and pumping with volume. While the pump testing took place, each apparatus was inspected for all required equipment, tools, and devices.

All units passed the required annual testing. The testing was coordinated by Chief Engineer Chuck Doyle. Apparatus drivers/pump operators Todd Tracey, Lt. Frank Smith, and Clay Myers handled the pump testing and firefighters Brandon Tignor and Evan Uebel assisted.
