|Backup Carnival Date Cancellation|

It is with great sadness that we must err on the side of caution and announce the cancellation of our backup September carnival date. The opportunity to see all of our amazing community members from near and far during a week of great food and fun activities will not occur this year, as Coronavirus concerns still overshadow our attempts for this important fundraiser.
We will, however, continue to offer our raffle drawings that will be held on the evening of Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. We will perform the drawings over Facebook Live and subsequently post the winners on the website and call each individual winner upon completion of the drawings.
Purchase of additional tickets can be accomplished in person at Carolyn Orchards located at 3899 Sykesville Road in the heart of Gamber between the firehouse and the Route 91 interchange during regular business hours. You may also purchase them online through our email system: Carnivalraffle@gambervfd.org.
We have three different raffles: $10,000 total major raffle; Steer raffle for a side of beef; and a $200 gift card to Weis Market. The auxiliary raffle is: Teak Finish Table with chairs; Samsung Galaxy Tab A, and other gift cards and prizes.
We realize a lot of people drop off their tickets during the carnival or at the station. At this time, we prefer that you mail your tickets back. If you choose to drop them off, we have installed a mailbox beside the front door of the station. This is to keep with the CDC recommended social distancing guidelines. We appreciate your assistance with this precaution.
