| These are some of the fund raisers we have during the year. We try to do some kind of training on meeting nights. The senior company has trainings throughout the year and the juniors are invited to participate. The Juniors also participate in an annual county Junior Day, held in September. This event is when the Junior companies get together and compete and train with one another. Everyone enjoys this event. Along with all this work we do have some fun activities. In past years we have gone to Hershey Park, we' ve gone skating at Sportsman Hall, we had a county picnic in Taneytown, we have visited other fire stations, along with other activities. Most of our juniors have gone on to join the senior division. In time they have become officers and life members of our company. The Junior fire company is a great place to make friends and learn some valuable life skills that may actually save someones life.
