| Around 0240hrs. Carroll dispatched companies to a reported bedroom on fire at 7040 Woodbine RD. As the companies were enroute Engine-Tanker 133 was dispatched to fill out the assignment and quickly responded with 5 volunteers. First arriving units found a one and half story house with heavy fire throughout the upper floor. They began to aggressively attack the fire and within 10 minutes had the majority of the fire extinguished. The crew from Gamber assisted with overhaul, shutting off the utilities, and clean-up. One resident was flown to Bayview Hospital for burns and two others were evaluated for smoke inhalation. Another great team effort by all companies involved resulted in the best possible outcome. |
