| The Board of Directors, Officers, and Members of the Gamber & Community Fire Company, the Auxiliary, and the Junior Fire Company, deeply regret to announce the passing of Associate Member Bethany Green on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Bethany is the daughter of Captain (and Past Chief), Ronnie Green and Recording Secretary, Chrissy Green. She is the granddaughter of Active Member Cliff Yeager and his wife, Maryann.
Bethany joined the Gamber & Community Junior Fire Company in 2001. She was elected president of the Junior Fire Company in 2002 and continued her membership in the Juniors until February of this year when she was accepted for associate membership in the Gamber & Community Fire Company. Besides the Junior Fire Company, Bethany enjoyed participating in sports. She was active in basketball, volleyball, and softball.
Bethany's passing at such a young age will have a deep impact on all members of the fire company, our community, and of course her immediate and extended family. Please take a moment to say a prayer for Bethany and her family.
Please feel free to share or view memories of Bethany in our guest book.
