On Saturday, June 19, Gamber Water Rescue Team members conducted training at the Liberty Reservoir. Boat operators had a great day on the water to get in drive time and the divers got time underwater.

Around 11am the boat was used to assist with a missing person search that the Maryland State Police had ongoing near the dam of Liberty. Boat 13 searched the water's edge from the Dam to the Rt 26 bridge finding nothing. Units cleared and went back to the station only to be called back when search dogs alerted near the water for the subject. Units went back to the reservoir and a search dog was placed on the boat. Once the dog got a hit, divers once again suited up. Two diver's completed searches before calling it a night at dark.

The missing subject was found an hour later and transported to the hospital.
