| The Gamber & Community Fire Company presented honors and awards to its members for 2011 after the regular company meeting on Monday, March 19, 2012.
Matthew Madairy was presented with the prestigious Gerald L. Lindsay Memorial Firefighter of the Year Award for 2011. Stan Mertz Jr. was presented the Herman Hoff Memorial Award for outstanding service in fund raising. Robert Klinefelter was honored as the Administrator of the Year. Emily Franklin was awarded the Rookie of the Year Award. Nicholas Beavin was honored with the Garrett M. Lindsay Junior Firefighter of the Year Award for 2011. Mike Shawver was honored with his 20 Year Life Active Membership.
