The Gamber & Community Fire Company Dive Team held a training session on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Harlow pool at McDaniel College. Even though it was chilly outside, members enjoyed the warm water of the pool inside.

Team members who participated requalified on the basic skills required for diving, a 200 yard swim, treading water for 5 minutes and retrieving a 5 lb. weight from 10 feet.

Members practiced with the EXO 26 full face mask, Communication System & other tools. Afterwards, members worked on team building and cardio with a large exercise ball trying to keep it airborne, which is harder than it looks in water.

The Gamber & Community Fire Company Dive team would like to thank Jeff Hiestand and the staff at McDaniel College for their continued support and use of a great facility
