Emily Franklin was awarded the 2013 Gerald L. Lindsay Memorial Firefighter of the Year Award at April's Company Meeting on Monday, April 21, 2014.

Chief Charlie Green presented Emily with the award plaque at the end of the meeting. She was recognized for fire calls, training hours, and many other contributions to fire suppression and administration in the fire company.

Previously, Emily was awarded the Rookie of the Year Honor for 2011. She is the daughter of Beth Murray and Mike Franklin, both active members of the fire company.
