On Sunday, December 14, 2014, members of the Gamber & Community Fire Co. attended a Sunday school program at The Greater Baltimore Hindu-Jain Temple in Finksburg.

Veterans, police officers, and firefighters were honored by members of the Temple. A prayer for honorees and families was offered. They also blessed some fruit and gave it to the honorees as a token of their appreciation.

Fire company personnel had a question and answer session afterwards. They looked at and examined our equipment and gear. They were very appreciative, polite, and thankful.

We provided some fire prevention and safety information including coloring books and crayons for the children. We also explained the "Supra Box" program and provided information on how to purchase and use the Supra Box. They were very receptive.

We also got an EMS first responder call while we were there. We went on the call and then came back afterwards. They had a lot of questions about what we did. This was a great PR and educational event.
