2014 Awards Presented at March Meeting |

The Gamber & Community Fire Company presented honors and awards to its members for 2014 after the regular company meeting on Monday, March 16, 2015. Charles D. Green, Jr. was honored with the Outgoing Chief's Award. He had been Gamber's fire chief for seven years. The Gerald L. Lindsay Memorial Firefighter of the Year Award was presented to Bethany Mangle. Rookie of the Year Award went to Dylan Baker. Nancy Zepp was presented with the Herman Hoff Memorial Award for outstanding service in fund raising. Lionel Stickles III was honored as the Administrative Member of the Year. Patrick Fringer received the Garrett M. Lindsay Junior Firefighter of the Year Award for 2014. A special appreciation award for twenty five years as company historian was presented to Nancy Zepp by President Dale Bollinger. Additional Awards were as follows: Most Fire Responses - Dylan Baker The following members responded to the most fire calls for 2014 in order: 1. Megan Staudenmaier The following members had the most fund raising hours in order: 1. Jeannie Green President’s Volunteer Service Award in Bronze- Junior Members: William Hopwood The Outgoing Junior President Award was presented to Derek Zavetz.
