| On Feb. 26,2006 Baltimore County 911 received calls for a house fire on Five Springs Rd., in Chestnut Ridge. Units arrived to find a 2-story house with fire showing from a breeze porch and a remote room off of the main house. Due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area, command requested a tanker task force. Engine-Tanker 133 responded with five personnel. Twenty minutes after dispatch Engine-Tanker 133 arrived and staged. Crews on the scene had laid a supply line from a near by pond to the scene. Just as command was about to release the tanker task force they saw we had a crew of five and had the crew report to the scene to assist. The crew was put to work pulling walls and assisting crews with the remaining fire. Engine-Tanker 133 was on the call for about 2 hours. |
