On Saturday, May 24, 2025 several member of the Gamber and Community Fire Company attended a training seminar hosted by the Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Department (Baltimore County.) The seminar took place at the Strawberry Point Marina located at Martin State Airport. Members from six other jurisdictions participated. This was the first training of its kind in the region and was very well attended.

There were 8 boats present and operators described their units equipment and capabilities for providing water to land based companies on incidents. There was then a demonstration of each boats capability.
