| Trista Christiansen and Christian Often earned fifth place out of twenty-seven teams at the National SkillsUSA EMT competition held in Atlanta, Georgia last week. Their strong performance is a significant achievement and highlights their dedication and skill in emergency medical services. They represented Carroll County admirably at this national event. Christian is an active member of Gamber. Trista is active both at Gamber and Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Co. Congratulations to both! The event simulates situations encountered by emergency medical professionals that include either a medical or trauma clinical scenario. Each scenario requires the use of critical thinking skills, communication, and demonstration of professionalism. |
