Firefighters from the Gamber & Community Fire Co. used a donated house for training on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Members of Reese and Community Volunteer Fire Co. and Sykesville Freedom District Fire Dept. also participated in the house burning and training.
The house was located off of Kays Mill Rd. and was a large one story, brick rancher. Participating fire departments had numerous opportunities to enter the structure and several different evolutions were used.
All members received very useful training during the half-day training exercise.
