Dive Rescue Class

11 Members of the Gamber & Community Fire Co. dive team spent the weekend in the Dive Rescue Class taught by Dive Rescue International. Students learned about public safety drownings, scene evaluations, and dealing with families, media, and other agencies.

Class then moved to the pools to sharpen skills before they were put in black water using new equipment and techniques. The last day of class was scenario based putting all the skills learned to the test.

A big thank you to Instructor Mike Wise with Dive Rescue International and the Delray Beach Fire Dept.
