The Gamber and Community Fire Company Dive Team hosted a Dive Medicine class on Saturday, June 28, 2025. The class was attended by Gamber members as well as Carroll County DFEMS personnel. The class involved a classroom lecture portion, and after a lunch provided by our kitchen committee, a hands-on scenario portion was conducted at the Liberty Reservoir. Scenarios included different medical situations involving divers and how to treat them. This training will let Carroll County participate in the optional Maryland medical dive med protocol.
