| Gamber's Engine/Tanker 133 has been sold effective, May 5, 2026. It was purchased by The Town of Richmond Fire Department in New Hampshire.
The tanker was loaded onto a trailer during the afternoon of Tuesday, May 5 and prepared for transport to New England. The engine tanker was a 2003 Pierce Dash with a 2500-gallon water capacity.
It has been replaced by a new elliptical tanker. It’s mounted on a 2025 Kenworth T880 chassis with a poly tank wrapped in stainless steel and holds 3500 gallons of water. It also has a large-capacity portable folding tank and other appliances. Tanker 13 is powered by a Cummins X-15 diesel engine.
The sale of the engine tanker was coordinated by Gamber Chief Chad Hastings.
The Town of Richmond Fire Department protects 1163 people living in an area of 37.8 square miles in southern New Hampshire. It is located near the Massachusetts border. Members of this department are all-volunteer on-call status. |
